Győr week 3
hey yo friends and fam.
it has been an exciting week. We started off with splits with the other elders. I was with elder Hess, from Layton Utah. but we met with this super cool BMXer and had a super cool restoration. He lives in Germany, so we weren't able to set up with him again, but we had an amazing lesson. LOOK HIM UP i also attach a video of his skills, what we saw when we decided to contact him.
We also had splits with the assistants. I went with elder gentry who is an absolute MACHINE. he is on scholarship to play football for BYU, but in the mean time a killer missionary. i learned a ton about teaching, finding, etc. i am so grateful for great leaders that show me how i can be better.
Erzsi (one of our investigators) had her baptismal interview and passed! she will be baptised on the 3rd. On thursday for district meeting we watched the new prophet, russel m nelson's, first presidency broadcast, and i just felt the spirit the whole time confirming to me that he is the man in whom we can trust for revelation and direction and he leads the church in his prophetic calling. legit spirit was so strong. a ton of people cancelled on us this week (new people who we called and set up with) but we did find two older women tracting! one is 88, though she's still got it lol. She's excited to read the book of mormon.
also we rearranged our apartment, which missionaries have been living in for 20 years lol
a little short this week, but i love you all! be patient with others as god is patient with you!
