IT SNOWED

well shoot,

another week down and this one was weirder than the last.

Last P-Day we went to this WWI memorial with our meal time buddy, Tardi Anna (she's this super sweet granny who we go over to every P-Day for lunch).  After that we went to the forest and cooked some bacon over a fire and then we went to the Christmas market and bought some kürtös kalács makers (ok, so it's like this round tool that you wrap dough around and make this really good bread that you can put cinnamon on and stuff) but it was a #FAIL hahaha.  Our dough dripped all in the fire lol but we got a few good pics.  After that we went home and passed this sign that said that Kecskemét was the birth place of Kodály Zoltán!  Do re mi fa so la ti do WHO KNEW? That night we went streeting and looked up this potential investigator and he became our new investigator!!  Also super awkward because I thought his name was Otto, so I said, "God loves each one of His children. He loves you, too, Otto!" to which Otto said, "my name ain't Otto." dogh!! yeah he's actually József.

Tuesday we did some more whiteboarding and met with some cool young people and exchanged our contact information.  We even sat down with this one kid on this bench and taught him about the restoration and he became a new investigator! Later that night we went to a return appointment but the guy didn't live there, so we tracted and found this super cool family that said we can come over next week!

On Thursday we had english class and taught some more of our investigators.  We got into some complex prepositions which FREAKED THEM OUT haha.  That night we were feeling really sick, and the next day we were feeling like grade a sewage. sister szabadkai (mish president's wife) thought we might have salmonela, which makes life even more awkward because we make all of our own food OOPS.  We went to the hospital and the doctor like complemented my hungarian i think? because she also looked so mad at me the entire time.  We were allowed to go to sacrament meeting, where we also bore our testimonies.  In any case, not a whole lot happened after we got sick  but I am so grateful for the miracles that did happen :)

next week will hopefully be more healthy and more productive! also we got this new phone that is a granny phone and it beeps all day long and we accidentally butt dial people all the time (hence the text below). ALSO IT SNOWED!!!

Love you all!  The Church is true, and God loves you, even if it's hard to realize sometimes! that just means He has something that He wants you to learn

Sok szeretettel,
Martin elder
