Tokaj

Sziasztok everybody!
This past week was absolutely packed.  On Tuesday, we headed to Miskolc (meesh-kohl-ts) for interviews with President Szabadkai.  The town had become quite striking since spring arrived.  During the non-winter months, Hungary goes crazy with outdoor seating at restaurants, which gives cities a much more livelier feel.
We went tracting with Kata again (we still can't get her to stop throwin up gang signs when we take selfies), and afterward we attempted to bike to our lesson all the way across town.  We found this little short cut through the wilderness which ended up being the long cut and making us miss our lesson.  We ended up biking through the forest for about 3 hours, even passing the Nyíregyháza dump!  We eventually reached a highway that wasn't even really on our map, but then found a sign that told us we had only managed to work our way 10.5 kilometers outside of Nyíregyháza.

On P-Day, we went to Tokaj mountain and successfully climbed all the way to the top! We followed the vineyards, and then sort of plunged into the forest (literally, we were not using any particular path) in the general direction of the giant radio tower. By some miracle, we made it there (also thanks to Norris elder's superior orienteering skills). The views from the top were incredible! Probably the best P-Day that I've had so far.

We have been finishing up conference, and I especially liked Elder Christofferson's talk about raising a warning voice.  Sometimes it can feel uncomfortable to be bold as a missionary, but when he said that the motivation for a warning voice is love, that comforted me.  Sometimes I have a hard time distinguishing myself from just any other street evangelist, but I am so grateful for righteous parents who helped me cultivate my own testimony of the gospel and helped me anchor my hope steadfastly in life eternal with my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Love you all!

Adam
