Zone Conference and a deluge
Helloooo!!!!!!!!!
This last week was pretty great. It POURED a few days ago and the heat makes this place about as steamy as William Taft's armpits lolz. Since its fruit season a lot of people keep telling us about the "ancient hungarian fruits" aka apples, pears, cherries, apricots, peaches, and watermellons lol. I just thought that these are standard fruits but apparently they are Hungarian... just like how hungarians think that Jesus is Hungarian.. its a thing!!
We found this new man this week who we tracted into and talked with about the Restoration. In coming back from English Class there was an absolute DOWNPOUR and Elder Ballard and I crossed our own version of the sweet water creek because there was a river crossing this field and we werent able to get home besides crossing it.
We had a really cool experience when we talked to this woman on the street, and she at first didnt want to talk to us, but we just kind of kept talking and ended up talking for about 30 minutes. She at first wasnt willing to meet with us, but after a lot of sincere testimony, we were able to set up with her! You could almost see her heart softening. We'll see where this goes!
We typed up this list of how church members can do missionary work and gave it to the branch this week. I think they really liked it! And a highlight this week was zone conference in Buda! Elder Ballard and I gave a training on how to work with the ward council better and how to build better relationships with members. The Szabadkai's gave their departing testimony, it was super sweet. I love them, they are amazing. Elder Ballard gave his and my previous companion Elder Fisher also gave his! Ive only had one companion younger than me, elder morgan, who i trained. These next two transfers ill see all my remaining living companions die haha
We made fruit soup again this week, but did it slightly differently and put ice cream in it :) its soo good my favorite.
Love you all, have a wonderful week!!
