#YOSO

Well this past week was actually wonderful!  On Monday we had piano class and one of the boys from the ward, Ábel, is able to play I Need Thee Ev'ry Hour in priesthood!  We're working on a lot of songs with him and the others that come.  Later that night we had a lesson with a new investigator who was really looking for God.

On Tuesday we had 5 planned appointments and all 5 fell through!  It was a bummer, but we had a lot of opportunities to street and tract.  We streeted this one younger couple and we had a super positive interaction.  They said they were going to come to church, but we werent able to set up with them.  After we stopped talking with them, they went along their merry way, but when we realized we didnt have their phone number, Elder Ballard got this prompting to go after them and ask them.  I felt kind of hesitant at first but then #YOSO (you only serve once) and we ran after them and then they gave us their phone number!  We were really excited!

We went on splits to Tatabánya and I went with elder Bridges to two villages, Tata and Almásfüzitő (Almásfüzitő by accident because we were talking to this man on the train and we missed our stop).  On the way back from Tata we were in the train station and this woman cried out, "ELDERS!!  I'VE BEEN TO OREM!!"  haha it was this super cool woman who works for the UN on the family council.  She asked if we were going to Brigham Young University and I said I was and then Elder Bridges said he was going to Utah State and she goes, "Ohhh!  It is a bad school!" lol

Also we had a missionary meeting and the bishop told us about a church member whose wife ran away with another man, who ended up taking her to Germany, chopping her up and eating part of her!!!  Then he threw the remains in a lake... yikes..

On Saturday Szandra had her baptismal interview and passed!  We're really excited for her.

Sorry the computer is being dumb and I can't upload pictures but I'M EXCITED FOR NEXT WEEK!!!

love you all,
Martin elder
