Dunaújváros: Round 1

Last Tuesday before I bounce outta Győr we are saying bye to some of our investigators.  We saw Nicketa and Péter in their new house in a village.  She got some jamaican vibes going through her place.  Their village is right next to Slovakia!  I love them! 

Well we showed up in Dunaújváros and it is the epitome of communism!! haha the branch is super awesome they are SO nice and supportive of us.  So pretty much Dunaújváros  was built in the 1950's by a huge steel factory to give people jobs,and it was called Stalinújváros (Stalin new city).  Once Stalin died, they renamed it to Dunaújváros, Duna being the Hungarian word for the Danube.  So there pretty much aren't any pretty buildings haha but it's all chill.  Elder Ballard is my new companion and he is in his last transfer!! Also he is coming straight from Las Vegas #sincity #fullcircle??  We found two new guys this week, talked with them a lot about the Restoration on the steps of the train station.  Also every week on Thursday we have to go to Budapest for district meeting...  In any case, we also have weekly piano classes with the young men to make the branch more self reliant!  Elder Ballard and I have set a goal to talk with people on our way to EVERY activity (even if we runnin' a tad late).  

I also got to talk to my family last Sunday.  It was my last skype with them :,)  It was good to see them and I'm excited to see more of them in just 6 months. :) :) :)
