Konferencia

Hellooooooóóó,

this past week was great, the highlight definitely general conference!  We essentially watched all the sessions live, one on Saturday night, 3 on Sunday, and we will be watching the last session on Thursday in district meeting.  We watch Conference in the Branch House, where some members come but most watch at home.  Our investigator Richárd came and one of the recent converts, Roli (who is 12). The first session started at 11 on Sunday and the last ended at 8, and Roil and Richárd stayed the ENTIRE day.  They also became like really good friends.  We were not expecting that but hey!  I guess Richárd is one of those "you've got a friend in me!" guys.  Last P-Day was fun because we made milkshakes with the Bradshaws (the senior couple here in Győr) and they were delicious.  We also went to Szombathely for splits (right next to the Austrian border).  Elder Gilson and I were tracting and got a referral, and ended up finding this family that had met with the missionaries for 20 out of the 30 years that the church has been in Hungary!

During Easter we focused a lot on trying to find people at home.  Yesterday Elder Pulsipher and I sat down and just called a ton of people whose phone numbers we had traded and a ton of former investigators that we have been meaning to try to set up with for a long time.  A lot of these actually look really promising, people that were progressing well and then somehow just fell out of contact with the missionaries.  We were able to set up a lot of appointments, and I hope they start going through.  Sometimes the Lord won't give you more to work with until you work with what He's already given you (area book).

I love this work and the Spirit that you can feel when you put your all into it.  I loved the talk in conference about sacrifice by Toylor G. Godoy.  I love the idea of sacrifice as making something sacred, and by giving up, we gain more love for others and blessings upon all those around us.
