Lots of Travel

Hey friends and Family!!!

This last week was incredible.  To start off, we traveled A TON. On Tuesday we went up to Buda to meet the new mission president and his wife.  They are so awesome!  Though their personalities are a lot different than the Szabadkais', their passion for the Gospel and the work is the same.

A lot of new rules were brought into the mission that were new to a lot of us.  For example, the relationships between elders and sisters are really strict now.  We can only talk to other missionaries in Hungarian and we cant do PDay stuff anymore with the sisters.  In fact, the mission will move more toward having just elders in cities and just sisters in others.  We have to speak Hungarian from 10 am to 9 pm and are pretty much encouraged to stay outside of the apartment between these times too (i.e. do studies outside and just go out to eat).  We get a little bit more missionary support fund to get us by ;).

After meet the president we went down to Kaposvár with the Pécs elders on splits who currently sleep in Kaposvár but bus to Pécs and back to work because they have bed bugs.  So we arrived in Kaposvár and then we pretty much had 2 hours to both eat dinner and do some work.  I went tracting with Elder North and Elder Ballard went to Elder Fisher and we both got let-ins and found 4 new investigators!!  but not for us, and not for the pécs elders, but for the kaposvár elders ;D  elder north and I taught this super cool lesson to these kids who were super into the Gospel.  Seriously, one of the coolest lessons of my mission, they were so receptive.

The next day we went to Pécs which is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been in my entire life.  We worked there almost the whole day, that night we trained up to Buda and spent the night with the secretaries because the next day was Mission Leadership Conference.

I really like traveling by train because we can talk to a lot of people about the Gospel.  On Friday was a baptism for the sisters!  The spirit was really strong, and afterward there was a rainbow right next to the factory in the distance.  On Saturday our investigator Dóra brought her son to meet with us too!  We're excited for them to progress.

On Monday we had a special day because it was ZONE DAY because our zone had 6 baptisms.  We prepared a Scavenger Hunt around Budapest that involved giving cards to people on the metros and it was super fun.  On the way back we talked for about 2 horus to some heavy metal concert goers and they were SUPER nice.  I love talking to everyone it is a great feeling.  We're excited for a new week!!! OH and our transfer calls came and I am staying in Dunaújváros and getting elder McCann, an austrailian!!  We will be zone leaders together.

Love you all!!  The book of mormon is true and Jesus Christ is our Savior!!

  2. Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the web the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they just don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks

  3. It was wonderfully open-handed of people like you to deliver extensively all a number of us could have distributed for an electronic book in order to make some bucks for their own end, and in particular considering the fact that you could possibly have done it if you ever decided.
